Bordered by Parry Sound, Algonquin Park, Haliburton, Simcoe County and Georgian Bay, District 46 is the geographical gateway to the lakes and granite of the Precambrian shield. On January 1, 2007 Muskoka became an RTO/ERO District. Formerly a Unit of District 6, Muskoka's membership has grown due to local retirements and educators choosing to retire in our area. With a new manageable size and enthusiastic and hardworking volunteers Muskoka has become the District to watch. Our District has been well represented at Senate and on Provincial Committees, as well as providing an RTO/ERO President.  We warmly welcome those memebrs who wish to serve our Executive as Directors or volunteers for our Goodwill Services, Bursaries Program, and our Political Action committees. Nationally RTO/ERO has over 76,000 members nationwide and is a leader in advocating for Seniors issues.
